Would you like to install L&L’s favorite system? Choose the SPF (spray polyurethane foam) roofing system. With an 85% reflective top coat, you’re getting a high R-value (the higher that number, the better the insulation) and a waterproof roof all-in-one. This seamless roofing system is known for its return on investment, sometimes saving our customers up to 30-40% on their utility bills.
We begin the SPF roofing process by cleaning the entire roof area, ensuring a tight bond. Then we apply closed cell, three-pound polyurethane foam at a minimum 1½” thickness to the entire roof area. This liquid will give you an energy-efficient roof as it expands into a solid foam. But that’s not it. Then we apply a base coat at approximately two gallons per square foot on the complete roof area. Lastly, we complete the sustainable roof by applying a white reflective top coat at approximately two gallons per square foot. The beauty of this retrofit roof is that it can withstand up to 50 years of use. For many scenarios, it’s a solid win.
